4P/-\(How I got the idea:
I've had this idea for 4PAC in mind ever since I took my driver's ed class: an app that is purposely used to benefit your life positively in every way. I didn't get an iphone until the summer before I came to college at Wright State my freshman year. In driver's ed, I remember watching a video about a news cast reporting about a local young high school girl who was killed in a car accident because she was distracted by her cell phone: texting. This sparked the idea of "driving" mode. If you have this mode turned on in your phone and someone texts you, or anything of the sort, your phone will automatically respond to them saying that you are driving. You will still have access to your emergency numbers and dial pad. Thinking along these lines, "drunk" mode was born. Drunk mode is where you have a list of emergency numbers (parents, friends, a trusted taxi service near your location, etc.) without unlocking the phone itself, also you cannot text without answering a question only your "sober" self would know. By this point, I didn't just want to have a two in one app, I wanted to double it up. I've heard a lot of stories from my friends and family about how they always seem to lose their phone when the ringer is off, thus the "ringer" mode was created. When downloaded, if you lost your phone, you will be able to use a designated number to call it, even if it's on silent, that will turn the ringer on. I just thought the emergency contacts, not only for family members or friends, but for other emergencies as well, such as poison control, suicide hotline, police and fire department, an emergency doctors number, etc., would be a good idea to include in the app because you never know when you're going to need any of them. The app will not be for free at first, however in the future, if the app really takes off, it will become available to everyone, but for now, the app will cost $3.99. This will not only work with iPhones, but with others as well (androids, Samsung, etc.), however only a few features will work.
